In response to this, Theovision International’s Children and Youth Ministry was confronted to take up a challenge of setting up a skills development center that will train the youth especially young ladies between the ages of 15 and 25 in a vocation at no cost. The program basically targets School dropouts, street girls and Child prostitutes. Our main objective is to empower the youth especially the females with skills that will make them self-reliant, to use this program as a platform to reduce the cases of teenage pregnancy, unemployment and exploitation that females face, to raise ambassadors who will be models to their female counterparts.
Poverty has remained the one factor that underpins all societal ills all over Africa. In Ghana, many communities live in abject poverty with its resultant lack of opportunities to be trained and become self-reliant.
